So, tonight is my 5 year high school reunion. I don't think anything else can make you feel so old. Especially when you haven't accomplished much in those 5 years. I can just hear the questions: "did you graduate college?" nope.. just started.
"are you married?" nope.
"but you have kids?" yep.
"oh." yep, see ya later.
I came to realize that when you're in high school, you're so naive to what the real world is like, and only the lucky people get and accomplish what they planned for. The other people, such as myself, have to go through tornadoes, climb mountains, and sink in the deep end of the ocean before life starts to take it's rightful place.
I'm not at all where I thought I would be 5 years ago, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
